Listening to what dead people have to say........

So an interesting question was posed to me today.......why do dead people talk to me?

The only answer I can think of is that I listen to what people dead or alive have to say. I might not like what I hear or understand it, but I do actually listen carefully and thoughtfully.

I think a person has to be a bit open minded because some of the things dead people tell me are pretty amazing. Sometimes I am told parts of a story and then somehow later the other parts are told or the missing puzzle pieces are put together so I understand the message.

Is being a good listener an advantage to talking to dead people? I honestly have no idea.

A Diary has been discovered!

One diary has been discovered. It has many details of the sadness and death of her two children and much more. What really happened? There is another diary/document that is around somewhere too but I am trying to figure out what that is and where it is.

There is also another story of another woman in this house which I am trying to understand. It is very exhausting. I'm working on it though. :)

Am I Crazy???

What an interesting question. For those who know me they might have to agree. For those who don't - it doesn't matter.

I see that my house the Gibson Mansion is getting to be quite famous on The Dead File - Episode 7 on the Travel Channel. It has also drawn quite a bit of attention and I see it is on Youtube too. I guess everyone has something to say about the most haunted house in Great Falls, Montana. There sure are a lot of people driving by these days.

Ghosts at the Gibson Mansion - The Dead Files - Am I Crazy?

Wow I didn't realize how popular the Dead Files would be. I guess my episode "Am I Crazy" has his the Internet web searches by storm. I get inquiries daily about my haunted house from all around the world.

Yes, my house the Gibson mansion is haunted. There are ghosts and they do talk to me. How absurd is that? Well its pretty normal to me. Been happening my whole life.

Are ghosts scary? Not to me. Ghosts just have some unfinished business and generally they want to tell there story to someone. I guess no everyone can hear them.

Do I ever get scared because there are ghosts in my house? No, it is just business as usual around the place. Some of my friends and contractors are afraid sometimes because they don't understand the dynamics of the other side. There is nothing scary, just people who happen to be dead who have something to tell. It is quite fascinating really. My ghost is very protective of this house and my family. She doesn't really like outsiders and some people are not comfortable being in the house. I think that is pretty normal in the world of ghosts and haunted houses though if you read about it in historical accounts and papers.

Paris Gibson did replace William Clark - Huguette Clark's father

Yes it is true that Paris Gibosn did replace William Clark as US Senator for Montana. Clark is the father of the reclusive Huguette Clark - millionairess who passed away earlier this year. Interesting.

There is much more information out there. Help me find it.

What is going on now?

Well today I had to go to the third floor and shut the window on the west side again. It has been open for a couple of days and I thought the wind opened it, but then it occured to me that I locked it with one of my painters. It is closed for now but this is an ongoing issue. I guess maybe I should be up on the third floor more often and perhaps I should open the wall up where the diary is located. Hmmm. So much to do so little time.

Dead Files on the Travel Channel - features Gibson Mansion, Great Falls, Montana

Well, that was quite a premier last night about my house. Is it true? Isn't it true? I can only tell you what I know and nothing else. I was very surpirsed that when I saw the video of Amy in my house we sort of came up with the same theory.

In response to the comments in the guest book:

The house was built in 1890, Paris Gibson was born in the 1830's (have to check for actual date).

There are always "others" in the house. Dozens of people have seen or heard them too.

I really like the house and I have no issue with the ghosts who live here. They are very friendly to us. The do like to share their stories with me though and sometimes I just have to ask them to take a break and leave me alone.
